Confessions of an Oven Cleaner #2

Wow #lifeofgrimeovens is three months old and my wee baby is growing up fast! From it's early days and fantastic support from friends and family word has spread through my facebook page @lifeofgrimeovens and my website www.lifeofgrimeovens.com

So far I've cleaned ovens from Musselburgh to Methil and Slamannan to Saline and met lots of great people and their feedback (and tea making) has been truly amazing.

When I started the company I wanted to focus on customer experience, to provide a great value service that my customers would talk about to their friends and family and ultimately keep them coming back year after year (or preferably sooner ;-)).

What's taken me by surprise is the reaction of my customers. Most cannot believe how clean I can get their oven and many have commented that their oven is like new again. That moment when customers see the results I can achieve no matter how dirty the oven, is why I love what I'm doing. It's real job satisfaction, well that AND I get to drive a van everyday!

Of course every clean is different and lots of customers think they have the dirtiest oven on earth, to the point they are apologetic with embarrassment. Yes, some have been hard work but who am I to judge. I know how busy family life can be particularly trying to hold down a full time job and help make sure the house is tidy, food is in the fridge and the wee one has a fancy dress costume for world book day.....Arggh! What with that and running the kids here and there, who the hell wants to spend their 'spare-time' elbow deep scrubbing the remnants of exploding dinners off the oven walls? ME that's who!

So don't be embarassed by the state of your oven and don't waste your money on supermarket solutions you've got far more important things to do, give me a call and keep your weekend for the nicer things in life!
